The River Orchy Fishing Association
The River Orchy is one of the most picturesque salmon rivers in the country. The salmon season runs from February 11 to October 31 and fly, spin and worm are permitted.
A combined catch and release rate of 78% on the River Awe & Orchy in 2007 allowed an extra 505 fish to spawn. Their spawning potential is roughly 1.5 million eggs which would otherwise have been lost to the system.
